Photo 28 Jan 80 notes I dislike how the term “atheism” gets overloaded. Yes, I am an atheist. That doesn’t say much about me, and most importantly it doesn’t say anything about being rational. I could be an atheist and still be a holocaust denier, I could buy into the 9/11-conspirationism, and I could be medicine-phobic and only settle for homeopathic quackery, etc. Atheism does not make me superstition- and irrationality-free. Critical thinking and applying the scientific method to everything does. So instead of “atheism”, this graphic should read more like “secular humanism”.

So instead of “atheism”, this graphic should read more like “secular humanism”.
